Joseph Richards was born in England in February 1865, the son of Joseph and Jacholiah (Dabb) Richards. He camed to the United States in 1886. He arrived in Butte in the early 1890s and opened the Butte Undertaking Parlors in 1896. He continued to operate his undertaking establishment until his death. He also served as county coronor in 1895-1896. He married Anna Zweifel in January 1899. He died in Butte on March 3, 1928. From the description of Joseph Richards records, 1912. (Montan...
